Detailed description of the works Sirs, We are the tendering Contractors on the forthcoming project; Housing Developments at Clifden, Co. Galway. We invite you to submit your most competitive tender for the subcontract(s) as outlined in the pricing document(s) specific to your trade. All tenders should be returned exclusive of VAT and inclusive of a 5% MCD. The Pricing Document should be completed in full and returned before close of business on Friday 20th of March. GENERAL PROJECT INFORMATION Form of Contract: Public Works Contract for Building Works designed by the Employer. Contract Completion: 18 Calendar Months including programme contingency. Liquidated & Ascertained Damages: €16,000 per week or part of week. Retention: 4% Insurance Requirements: Public Liability €6.5 million, Employer's Liability €13.0 million Method of Measurement: Agreed Rules of Measurement 4, as amended by Supplement 1 Issue 2 & Supplement 2. DESCRIPTION OF WORKS The Development will include the construction of 18 no. New Housing Units and 8 no.
